Roc's postcard challenge

This month the challenge was to use the same stamp twice, my Roc collection is increasing now and I hadn't used my new ones. I started off making a metallic image using silver, gold and copper Sharpie pens, a metallic stamp pad and a couple of pigs!

Don't like it much tho, I prefer brighter colours, and didn't think anyone would want to receive it! So I made another one, using the lovely cats instead, this time the flowers are coated with glossy accents and the text is embossed, 2 more methods I am trying to improve....

I may add a few more bits to it before the sending date, and flatten it out a bit!

ATC's.....all safely home!

This months' atc's have now all arrived at their destination, the ones I sent to Oregon in US finally landed! Luckily a photograph was posted as I didn't have a record of them.

The picture on the left is the envelope I made for the atc......again L'il Tetewea is made of tissue to make her a bit ghostly but the background is different to the other card I made.

On the same day mine arrived in Oregon, I had a delivery from Florida!! Thank you so much Gerrie, I love them, and the extra Agathas.....the images on the envelope made me smile too!

SDC 169 Black, Purple and Pink

I enjoyed this challenge, sometimes it is easier when you have specific guidelines! The backgroung was one I made a while ago with the Gelli plate and some bubble wrap. The edges were uneven so I added purple ribbon, then there was still some sticky tape showing so I added black spotty ribbon! The sentiment is half of a Dylusions one.....also 3 different washi tapes and of course the Monsters Line up :)

SDC 168 Book text

This week I've made flowers from a dictionary (£1 in Hospice shop) and an old map of London (actually a sheet of wrapping paper from the Saatchi Gallery). Have used bright colours this week, and Agatha is delivering her heart to the Monster......

Hope you like it x

Birthdays....

This week my lil brother is 50, he has numerous gifts but I decided to make him something for his home, he always says it needs a womans touch! I have a deep frame and used a picture of the 2 of us on the beach, and used some shells from our local beach....

The hearts and twine are from my last Art from the Heart delivery....the photo looks quite pink here but it isn't really ♥

ATC's coming and going....

Love these atc exchanges! Only one problem, I forgot to photograph them before I posted them! Last month I got carried away and put them on here too early, this month I didn't bother at all, doh!
Luckily Fran, who was the first lady to receive her posted them on Facebook....

I stamped L'il Tatawea onto tissue paper to make her a little more ghostly, and made a little envelope for it, the other side has a poison sign on it. The other atc is slightly different so I hope it goes on Facebook when it arrives!

I also received one this week, from Carla, it is totally fab, I love little Head, only here he seems to have lost his! Carla also sent me some lovely spooky embellishments :)

Happy Saturday!

Today I have managed to catch up with my cards for the Altered playing card challenge, finally completed weeks 4 and 5, just in time for week 6

Not entirely happy with the 'home' ones, but I'm pretty pleased with the other two....

Also, in other news, my Roc postcard from the lovely Valerie in Canada arrived to day, it is utterly fabulous!!

Love these swaps, my atc's were posted this week so should arrive soon too, excited!

SDC 167 'Masculine'

I have tried to come up with a 'masculine' design for this weeks challenge, for a change it is all Tim Holtz stamps apart from one,

The picture is a bit wonky as it is a large size 12 tag, standing on a small easel! I was quite pleased with the background as it was my first attempt with a Gelli plate, and it looks like leather....
